Tiled Shower

Here is a recent completed tiled shower. Bill was up for the challenge on this one. It may seem simple at first, but there was a lot to account for to ensure the pattern was done correctly. The back was first set and then the corners.

Interior Trim upgrade

Many of the houses in our area have, well, pretty plain doors and moldings. We specialize in upgrading your interior with new doors, windows and moldings. The pictures in this gallery are of the upgraded trim and doors, the original were small fir moldings and flat hollow core fir doors.  Trim and doors make for an excellent return on investment.

 Testimonial from customer

Bill Gawley is an amazing contractor – he and Noah became part of the family during our two month remodel project! Not only is Bill a skilled and precise artisan, but he also has a keen sense of design and balance that were integral in the transformation of our townhouse. His suggestions, based on many years of experience, ranged from kitchen backsplash tile to base moldings…from paint color to hardware finish. Seeing the project through his eyes often brought about a new spin on and refinement of our original plans.

Bill’s attention to detail was evident throughout the remodel – ensuring that work was completed in a professional and timely manner and that the work area was left clean and orderly at the end of each day.

We are pleased to recommend Bill Gawley as a contractor for projects large and small. He is talented, professional and fun to work with – always has a smile on his face!

Marble Shower

This is a marble shower that I did for a customer back in 1990. This was a contractor showpiece of a zero refraction marble installation. The marble is Roman Travertine and the pink marble inlays are Pink Travertine. The steps are all hand bullnosed and the one step has a 90 degree radius that is also bullnosed, faceted, honed smooth, and polished.

Azek Stairs with Peak Aluminum Railing

Here is a recent deck “reskin”.  Previous decking material had spalded. We replaced the deck boards with Azek PVC decking. Notice the border feature we use for our installation method. This method will last years to come, and an added feature – NO screw holes showing. Cortex Hidden Fastening System used for the strongest durability.

Solid Surface Shower with Window

Here is a recent solid surface shower with the added feature of a rain glass window. This was a tricky one, but with my years of experience as a trim carpenter, we were able to install the window jamb and sill pieces without having to purchase a window kit.

Shower door installed at a later date.
